Our Youth Director

Bridges Herring is from Birmingham, AL. He attended Hoover High School and Samford University where he received his undergrate degree in Congregational Studies. After traveling throughout Europe for several months and taking a year off from school, he attended Duke University. He received a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in December 2003. While he is a part time youth director at this church he is also a full-time teacher at Oak Mountain Classical School. There he teaches Upper School Bible Courses and an American History and Literature course. He has taught at Oak Mountain Classical School for 4 years, and he has been the youth director at Lake Crest for 2 years. He is married to Robyn Marie Herring. They have been married since December 2001. They have a one year old daughter named Evynne Marie Herring.
